Vaughn Gittin Jr. is a self-proclaimed “professional fun-haver.” The world champion Formula D driver, NASCAR racer, and off-road driving veteran is a true gearhead known to wear many hats in the motorsports industry. The self-taught drifter is recognized by his signature pedal-to-the-medal driving style, full of big smoke and sharp turns, all behind the wheel of his iconic Monster Energy Ford Mustang RTR. In 2005, Gittin Jr. became the first American driver to win a D1 Grand Prix event in the USA vs Japan All-Star Exhibition. In 2020, Vaughn earned his second Formula Drift championship title, clinching four podium finishes and two first-place wins. In 2014, Gittin announced his NASCAR Canadian Tire Series debut at Circuit Trois-Rivière as the only American driver in the circuit.
