Even when doubters said he would never have a career in kick scootering, initially, before building a global audience of millions subscribing to his viral videos and never-been-done tricks. When Ryan stepped up from scootering to BMX, the sky was the limit. After earning his first BMX Big Air gold at X Games 2018, the Aussie rider with the big smile and even bigger bag of tricks became a force to be reckoned with on the Mega Ramp circuit. Since then, R-Willy has broadened his skill set to include winning performances in BMX Dirt and Park for an all-round threat. And it’s working: At X Games California 2023, he became one of three BMX athletes in history to claim three medals at the same X Games. Not to forget, winning the Monster Energy BMX Triple Challenge series title in 2023 and finished second in 2024. He also asked for the hand of his girlfriend the same year (she said yes), but make no mistake: R-Willy is married to BMX forever!
