That’s right. Monster Energy has teamed up with the legendary OpTic Gaming, uniting another pillar organization in Call of Duty and the Call of Duty League. This means OpTic fans can look forward to new types of content, live-event activations, and enough Monster Energy to keep you focused through all the competition.

To mark the occasion, we’ve asked H3CZ to preview exactly what this will mean for the GreenWall, and why Monster was the perfect partner to help them usher in a new era for the team.
What attracted OpTic Gaming to partner with Monster Energy, and how do you see this collaboration benefiting your team and the Greenwall?
“It was only a matter of time before our paths crossed. Monster’s history of backing emerging subcultures, whether street art, motorsports, or music, mirrors everything we’ve stood for since day one. We both live the grind, live the hustle, and embody community. This partnership isn’t just business; it’s cultural alignment.”
From street art and motorsports to gaming and esports, OpTic Gaming and Monster Energy have touched many of the same areas of culture. What does it mean to you to strike a partnership between two well-aligned brands? How important was that shared DNA in making this collaboration a reality?
It’s everything. We’re not just two brands. We’re two communities who grew out of passion. OpTic and Monster have both carved out our spaces by doing things our way and never waiting for opportunity, permission, or the right time. That makes it feel less like a partnership and more like a family reunion.
How does OpTic Gaming plan to integrate Monster Energy products into its events and gaming experiences? Can we expect to see Monster represented at the next round of fan 1v1s or other social events?
Monster will be everywhere, from the HECZQUARTERS to the tailgates to LAN events and pop-ups. You’re going to see it at the 1v1s, vlogs, process, trivia, and maybe even in a few unexpected places.
What role does Monster Energy play in enhancing the engagement and excitement levels among the OpTic Gaming community? Can we provide an immediate impact on OpTic fans?
When the GreenWall sees that green claw next to the logo, they’ll know what's up. Monster brings energy, hype, and opportunity. It’ll be a centerpiece of competition, content. The impact is immediate, and meaningful.
It’s well-known that OpTic Gaming is always a few steps ahead of the game. How can Monster Energy support the team’s goals and vision for the future?
We think in eras of OpTic. Monster gives us opportunity to fuel the dream. Whether that’s expanding into new verticals, launching next-level content projects, we know we have a partner that isn’t afraid to push boundaries with us, so boundaries we’ll push, we’re letting the logo run wild, we’re letting it run free.
We know OpTic is the peak of content. Can you describe any unique content or collaborations that fans can expect from this partnership? How can Monster’s support elevate the creative side of what you do?
Docs, IRL adventures, and shows that have been sitting in a notepad, all with that unmistakable OpTic House feel. We will go further, travel bigger, and continue to bring y'all along with us, as we hopefully make our way to a place where we can meet.
How does OpTic Gaming plan to leverage Monster Energy's extensive brand presence to expand its reach?
Monster is global. Their reach is massive, and tapping into that opens doors we’ve been waiting to walk through. We’ll collab to spotlight our players, our creators, and our fans on a much larger scale and vice-versa, we’d love to collab with fellow Monster friends and family.
Is there a dream goal Monster Energy might help OpTic Gaming achieve? If so, what might that look like?
There’s several, and I hope to strategically tackle all of them one by one on our way to victory, or on our way to dinner to tell each other we’ll get them next time.
Finally, what’s the biggest thing you’d like fans of both brands to take away from this partnership?
That this is bigger than esports and energy drinks; it’s about bringing like-minded communities together. If you rep Monster, and you rep OpTic, you’re part of something built on passion, loyalty, and love for the game, no matter the game, it's about the daily chase of building and creating something cooler than what we created the day before.
