Adrien Van Beveren was already an off-road motorcycle racing 'bright light' before he morphed from a superlative sand rider into an authentic Dakar Rally prospect. The Frenchman won the prestigious Enduropale Le Touquet beach race three years in a row, while also casting an eye on perhaps the most difficult and dangerous contest of them all - The Dakar Rally. Adrien received plaudits for grabbing sixth position at his first attempt at the 9000 km two-week Dakar in 2016 and has since gone on to record four top-10 finishes in the five years since. A friendly, determined and fiercely-competitive athlete, 'VBA' is just as happy wowing crowds with his Enduro acumen and then appeasing fans on one of his frequent turnouts at MXGP as a spectator. Among a raft of special riders from France, Adrien is one of the country's most versatile and treasured.
