Kris Foster has been building his passion for riding since the early age of three. He grew up in the rolling hills of a small town in British Columbia’s interior, Chase BC. Kris spent countless hours idolizing FMX videos, such as Crusty Demons, Terrafirma and Wrathchild, which lead him to copy his idols and create his own video at the young age of 12 which planted the seeds of Freestyle from an early age. Kris’s parents Rick and Donna support his future goals in every way and soon helped him race at 12 years old. At age fifteen Kris began racing in the Pro class. After a successful run in the Canadian Arenacross championships and a Supercross Moto win in Liverpool he began to look for new ways to experience his sport. In the midst of endless natural terrain in Kamloops, Freestyle and Freeriding was the next step forward for his career. With a strong background in Mountain biking and BMX, Kris always knew he wanted to make edits that push the boundaries of Freeriding while incorporating a style of all three sports. His dreams became reality when Monster Energy’s “Limelite” gave Kris the opportunity he needed and he took the Moto industry by storm with a 165’ step-down. Kris put countless hours of hard work and dedication into this video which paid off as it earned him a spot in the X-Games of 2014 in Austin Texas. Kris’s opportunity at the X-games proved his talent as he was 4th place finisher in Speed and Style.
