Monster Meta: Best Loadouts in Call of Duty Black Ops 6

Published On: 11/15/2024

Pro player builds and loadouts for Multiplayer and Warzone. Best Model L and PP-919 class by TeeP and Symfuhny.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is in full throttle, and our sharpshooters have been in the field putting together the very best loadouts to help you hit the ground running. Whether you want to sit back and pick up easy kills at range or zip across the map causing havoc at every turn, we’ve got something for every kind of player.

There are two top-shelf suggestions this time around. First up, battle royale legend Symfuhny is here with the inside scoop on the best Assault Rifle in the game. He recommends rocking the Model L. Unlocked at Level 40, this latecomer AR shoots like a dream. Low recoil and excellent versatility make the perfect blank canvas for another masterful Symfuhny build. This is what you need if you want to imitate one of the straightest shooters in the game.

Symfuhny’s Model L Monster Meta Loadout

  • Reinforced Barrel
  • Ported Compensator
  • Ranger Foregrip
  • Ergonomic Grip
  • Accu-Spot Reflex

Everything in this build is grounded by the Reinforced Barrel and Ported Compensator one-two punch. It’s barely an exaggeration to say the Model L shoots laser beams, so adding in additional damage range synergizes perfectly with its natural strengths. Next, the Ranger Foregrip and Ergonomic Grip duo brings a sorely needed touch of mobility. No one wants to be a sitting duck while rotating to a new Hardpoint. Finally, the Accu-Spot Reflex makes it that much easier to land shots downrange—and you’ll be taking lots of those downrange engagements if you’re playing this build right.

PLAYING THE MAP

There’s no shortage of big maps in Black Ops 6. With so much ground to cover, enemies stand no chance at shooting back against someone in a power position. Use this build to fight for control of POIs like Derlelict’s top tower or the upper walkway on Red Card. Enemy squads will be forced to deal with you to progress up the map, putting themselves in vulnerable positions life after life. Clean up easy kills, use your equipment to stay safe, and let scorestreaks open up the field even further. All it takes is a little bit of discipline and you’ll be leaving scorched earth behind you in every lobby.

Black Ops 4’s Hacienda is back in Season 01, and using the Model L feels just like shooting the Maddox. There’s no better map to get those power position reps on. Take over the top fountain walkway or toss a trophy system down in the showroom and rack up kills just like the glory days.

Keeping up with the Model L is no small task. That’s why we brought in the big guns. TeeP is a former Call of Duty World Champion, and his advice is as good as gold. While ARs have been dominant in the early days of Call of Duty Black Ops 6, the former champ recommends rolling with the PP 919 for anyone looking to get shifty on the map. This quick-hitting SMG is a reimagined version of Modern Warfare 3’s PP90, and it’s just as good now as it was in its heyday.

TeeP’s PP-919 SMG Monster Meta Loadout

  • Compensator
  • Reinforced Barrel
  • Ergonomic Grip
  • Fast Mag 2
  • No Stock

The PP-919’s strength comes from multiple factors, and TeeP’s loadout turns the heat up to 11 on every aspect. First, the Compensator and Reinforced Barrel combo brings just the right amount of stability and range we’re looking for in an AR-heavy meta. It’s not all about imitating the long guns, though. Adding in the Ergonomic Grip boosts both Slide to Fire time and Aim Down Sight Speed, turning every basic slide into an opportunity to make a play worthy of a Call of Duty League highlight reel. Wrap it all up by mixing in a Fast Mag for quick reloads and ditching the stock for a little extra shiftiness.

This build has a little bit of everything. Not only will you break cameras and snatch ankles, but you’ll also stand a fair chance in those medium range gunfights where other SMGs might not get the job done. Calculated aggression is the name of the game as an SMG player, so move fearlessly up the map, slide quickly in and out of gunfights, and keep your head on a swivel at all times. If you can do that, the PP-919 will get you where you need to go.

PLAYING THE MAP

SMGs are often at a disadvantage in Black Ops 6, but there are still a couple maps where they shine like fine diamonds. You’ll have to brave the chaos of Babylon, Nuketown, or Stakeout, but anyone willing to put their mental state on the line is in for big results with this loadout. Still, it’s crucial not to overheat as an SMG player. Sliding into the enemy spawn and trying to win four gunfights at the same time is never going to work.

Instead, take advantage of omnimovement and be mindful of your advantages. If you pick up a double kill from Nuketown’s garage area, slide back to safety and reposition elsewhere on the map. Things move fast on these tiny battlefields and overstaying your welcome will only lead to avoidable deaths. Keep your wits about you, trust in the PP-919’s ability to win close-range fights, and everything is going to be fine.
