DJ Stakz, the Monster sponsored “International Club King”, hosted the annual Miami takeover in May, a vibrant three-day beach social commemorating the Caribbean and Haitian-American culture during Haitian Heritage Month. Setting the scene for over 20k attendees and eminent personalities such as Jim Jones, Hit Maka, Dave East, and Kranium, the Miami experience is proof that Stakz’s talent extends beyond his music and mixing artistry. “Miami Takeover is a weekend where we represent the Haitian flag and its culture,” said Stakz. “It’s something I put together to showcase the movement, but to other people and to other cultures. I am representing not just Haitians, but Caribbean, Latin, and hip-hop cultures across the board.”

Straight out of Brooklyn, New York, with a rich heritage from Haiti, Stakz oozes with raw passion for music and proudly representing his eclectic Haitian culture. Taking cues from both his father's musical craft and his brother's love for dancehall and hip-hop, Stakz quickly recognized his calling and dove into the industry head-first. Driven by an unwavering sense of self and rock-solid integrity, he blazed his way to success, emerging as a high-profile DJ and entertainer who is leaving his mark across the globe.
