Unstoppable! Filipe Mota's rise to skateboard fame is the most inspiring skate story of the past few years. At the young age of 9, the young ripper from Patos de Minas, Brazil, dropped his first full-length part in the 'Deemers Essencial' in 2016. The video already showed his unique ability to chain together combinations of flips, grinds, slides, and shove-outs, later pushed to the next level in Filipe's Berrics video that's been viewed more than 1.5 million times.

The only thing more mind-boggling than Filipe's tech trick combos? Definitely his consistency! The ability to throw the most complex tricks at will has already earned him top spots at multiple contests. Actually, Filipe went from the streets to the League practically overnight. After taking third place among the top amateur riders in 2019's Zumiez Best Foot Forward Competition and winning 2020s Global AMdemic event, the rookie qualified into SLS – and has been holding his own against elite SLS pros ever since. He's also more than earned his stripes in the Monster Army amateur program before full-fledged Monster Energy sponsorship. All set for the future, Filipe continues to unlock never-been-done trick combos and push himself (and street skating) to the next level. And we're here to watch!
