Creative tech tricks, a fearless approach and so much pop: Giovanni Vianna is a unique rider pushing the limits of modern-day street skating. He first turned heads as a young rider putting down big tricks beyond his age in his native Brazil. Making a splash in the United States, he won the Next X Am Street contest at XG Minneapolis 2018 and has since claimed podium spots in street contests with his unique bag of tricks. He’s also one of those rare skateboarders who can string together high scores in the pressure cooker environment of Street League Skateboarding (SLS) contests. Matter of fact, he sent a shock to the system by clinching the title of Men’s Street SLS Super Crown World Champion in 2023 on his home turf in Brazil. Then again, Giovanni is not your typical ‘contest skater’ but constantly out on filming missions in the streets capturing groundbreaking tricks for marquee video productions. It’s all part of the process for Giovanni. Progression is the name of the game and he’s elevating all of street skating along the way.
