OFFICIAL RULES

1.    Eligibility:
The “Monster Energy® 2025 Collect and Redeem Promotion and the Osheaga VIP Experience Sweepstakes” (the “Promotion” and “Sweepstakes”) are only open to natural persons who are legal residents of, and physically located within, Canada, and who are over the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside, at the time of entry except employees, representatives and agents, and members of their immediate families (i.e., parents, spouses, siblings, children, grandparents, step parents, step children and step siblings, and their respective spouses, and those living in the same household, whether or not related) of Monster Energy Canada ULC (“Monster” or “Sponsor”), Gestion Evenko Festival Inc. (“evenko”), the administrator: GOcxm Inc. (“GOcxm” or “Administrator), the fulfillment administrator: LPi Communications Group Inc. (“LPi” or “Administrator”), and their respective affiliated companies, parent companies and subsidiaries (“Affiliates”), participating Promotion partners, retailers, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, webmasters and any company involved in the creation, design, execution or production of the Promotion, or fulfillment of the of the Collect and Redeem items or prizes (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”). To participate in the Sweepstakes for the Grand Prize (see Section 2).

Administrators: LPi Communications Group Inc. and GOcxm Inc.

3.    Agreement to Official Rules
By participating in the Promotion, participant fully and unconditionally agrees to, and accepts, these official rules (the “Official Rules”) and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.  

4.    Promotion Period
The Promotion begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”), on July 1, 2025 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET, on November 30, 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). GOcxm’s computer is the official time-keeping device for this Promotion. Eastern Time means either Eastern Standard Time or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on which time is in effect on the date in question.

Monster Energy® 473mL products with the silver promotional tabs in the flavours listed below in Appendix A, while supplies last, will be produced for this Promotion (“Participating Product”).

SECTION 1: COLLECT AND REDEEM PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS 
(SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES WILL FOLLOW IN SECTION 2)

How to Participate and Claim Collect and Redeem Items
6.    Purchase Participating Monster Energy® products (see Appendix A) in Canada during the Promotion Period and collect the CODES under the silver tabs. Participating Products may not be available in all locations and markets at all times during the Promotion Period. No copies, reproductions, or can tabs, from other products will be honored. Monster reserves the right to verify identity of individual submitting the order. 
7.    To redeem CODES, Text “MUSIC” to 87878 to receive a Promotion link OR scan the QR code appearing on pack or printed on point-of-sale materials found in stores, OR go to the Promotion link at www.music.monsterenergyloyalty.com. You will be directed to complete your account set up (your cell number, name, address, date of birth, and email address) or sign-in to your existing account. Enter your CODE(s). Each CODE entered will automatically give you one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes (see Section 2). You will be provided options to redeem for a Collect and Redeem item or accumulate CODES for higher tier items. You may come back multiple times to enter CODES. Your cell number is the account number. Once you have collected enough CODES to redeem for a desired item, select the item, and you will be directed to complete the claim form. The deadline to enter CODES and claim items is November 30, 2025.
8.    Regular text messaging rates, airtime, data, and carrier charges may apply. Only one (1) mobile phone number may be used by any one person to participate in this Promotion. Any personal information submitted will be used for the purposes of administering this Promotion only.
9.    Please allow approximately four (4) weeks for further communication on festival tickets after your order is placed.

Bonus CODES 
10.    You can earn two (2) bonus CODES when you refer an individual with whom you have a family or personal relationship to the program, provided that individual then registers in the program and logs in to their account.

For these purposes a “family relationship” means the relationship between you and the individual to whom you are sending the message is sent if you and the individual to whom you are sending the message are related to one another through a marriage, common-law partnership or any legal parent-child relationship and those individuals have had direct, voluntary, two-way communication; and

A “personal relationship” means a relationship between the sender and the referred individual, where those individuals have had direct, voluntary, two-way communication and it would be reasonable to conclude that they have a personal relationship. The GIC Regulations set out a non-exhaustive list of factors that should be used to determine whether there is a personal relationship (e.g., the sharing of interests, experiences, opinions, and information evidenced in the communications; the frequency of the communication, etc.).

Upon registration and logging in, the referred individual will earn two (2) bonus CODES.

To obtain this bonus, log into the program and share the unique referral URL found within “my profile”. The referral URL can be shared with individuals with whom you have a family or personal relationship you think would be interested in learning about this program and would not consider this to be spam. When the referred individual clicks on the unique URL, registers to the program and logs in, you will each receive two (2) bonus CODES. If you share this unique URL through social channels, please ensure that you are compliant with all applicable Terms of Use. Any share of this unique URL through social channels must include #promotion/sweepstakes as part of your post.

Stated item value is the approximate retail value (“ARV”) based on approximate values in Canada at the time of printing these Official Rules. All characteristics and features of the items, except as otherwise explicitly outlined above, will be determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion. Collect and Redeem items are while supplies last. Festival Ticket ARV is dependent upon concert selected and awarded. Any difference in actual value and stated value will not be awarded.

For Festival tickets:
Tickets are subject to availability, as well as the terms and conditions applicable thereto. Claimant and guest ticketholders must be, at time of admittance, over the age of majority in the province or territory in which the festival takes place. Claimant and guest ticketholders are subject to all rules, regulations, protocols, terms and conditions of the event promoters. Claimant and guest ticketholders will be required to comply with all venue rules and regulations, including all COVID-19 protocols in effect at the venue at the time of the event. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of prize as determined by Monster. If, for whatever reason, the event is cancelled or postponed, the ticket terms and conditions will govern, and Promotion Entities will have no further obligation to Claimant. Tickets do not include travel and accommodations to the selected festival.

Claimant and guest ticketholders fully understand that (a) the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and any resulting disease (together with any mutation, adaptation or variation thereof, “COVID-19”) is extremely contagious and there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any place where people are or have been present; (b) no precautions, including the protocols that may be implemented from time to time based upon public health and government-sponsored guidelines, can eliminate the risk of exposure to COVID-19; (c) while people of all ages and health conditions have been adversely affected by COVID-19, certain people have been identified by public health authorities as having greater risk based on age and/or underlying medical conditions; and (d) exposure to COVID-19 can result in being subject to quarantine requirements, illness, disability, other short-term and long-term health effects, and/or death, regardless of age or health condition.

12.    Collect and Redeem item suppliers are independent parties over which Sponsor does not exercise any control. Sponsor is not responsible for the acts or omissions of these suppliers, nor does it assume responsibility for any warranty, claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays, or loss of enjoyment to any participant.
13.    Each item must be accepted as awarded, and may not be assigned, substituted or redeemed for cash value. In case of the unavailability of any Collect and Redeem item, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value.  
14.    All claimed CODEs become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

SECTION 2: SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY TO THIS SWEEPSTAKES DURING THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH ARE A CONTRACT, SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. AMONG OTHER THINGS, THIS CONTRACT INCLUDES INDEMNITIES FROM YOU TO THE PROMOTION ENTITIES, A LIMITATION OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES, AND REQUIREMENT TO ARBITRATE ALL DISPUTES.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THE PRIZE.

A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ODDS OF WINNING WILL DEPEND ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED. VOID OUTSIDE CANADA, AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

15.    How to Enter the Sweepstakes
There are two (2) methods of Sweepstakes entry:

(i) No Purchase Necessary. To receive one (1) entry without a purchase, during the Promotion Period, submit an original hand-written essay by sending an email with a scan or legible photo of the essay to monsterfulfillment@lpi-group.com that includes: (a) The email subject line: “Monster Energy® Osheaga VIP Experience”; (b) a three hundred (300) word or more, unique and original hand-written essay on “Why I want to win Osheaga Music Festival Tickets” (an “Essay”); and (c) your first name, last name, telephone number, complete mailing address, and date of birth. Each Sweepstakes entrant who submits an approved Essay submission will be emailed one (1) alphanumeric CODE, while supplies last. Follow Step 2 below to enter and be eligible for winning the Grand Prize. No photocopies of a previously submitted Essay with hand-edits or computer-made will be accepted. Each Essay must be an original and submitted as above. Any Essays judged to be copies or are fraudulent in any way will disqualify all entries into the Sweepstakes by that person. Sponsor’s decisions are final.

(ii) Entering the Sweepstakes: To enter, complete the following steps:
Step 1: Purchase any 473 mL Monster Energy® product with a silver tab (see Appendix A); 
Step 2: Text “MUSIC” to 87878 to receive a Sweepstakes link OR scan the QR code appearing on pack or printed on point-of-sale materials found in stores, OR go to the Sweepstakes link at www.music.monsterenergyloyalty.com and follow these steps;
Step 3: Register by filling in the required fields and accept the Sweepstakes terms and conditions, or sign-in to your existing account. Regular text messaging rates, airtime, data, and carrier charges may apply. Participants will be required to consent to receiving electronic messages, and the collection, use, storage, and disclosure, of their personal information by Sponsor and GOcxm for the purposes of the Sweepstakes via text message to complete their entry; 
Step 4: Enter the alphanumeric CODE from under the participating silver tab (or in the case of entry without purchase, the alphanumeric CODE provided for an approved Essay);
Step 5: Each unique CODE entered automatically receives one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. There is no limit to entering the Sweepstakes multiple times per day, by either method, as long as each entry is original.  The sweepstakes closes 11:59:00 pm EST September 30, 2025.

16.    Regular text messaging rates, airtime, data, and carrier charges may apply; no other costs or other obligation will be incurred, by entering the Sweepstakes. 
17.    All entries must be received during the Promotion Period. Entries which are incomplete, late, lost, irregular in any way, or sent by an unauthorized method are void and will not be eligible or accepted at the time of the draw. Only one (1) mobile phone number may be used by any one person to participate in this Sweepstakes. Any personal information submitted will be used, stored, and disclosed for the purposes of administering this Promotion only.   
18.    Entries will only be accepted as described herein and will not be accepted by any other means. Each potential winner will be identified as the authorized account holder of the phone number used to enter the Promotion.

19.    Grand Prize Description
Grand Prize: There is one (1) “Grand Prize” available to be won. The Grand Prize includes: (a) round-trip, economy class airfare tickets for the Grand Prize winner and one (1) adult guest from a major airport near the Grand Prize winner's residence in Canada (as selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to Montréal, Quebec; (b) four (4) nights’ standard hotel accommodations (based on double occupancy); (c) two (2) Casino de Montreal GOLD tickets to Osheaga Music and Arts Festival at Jean-Drapeau Park on Saint Helen’s Island, in Montréal, Quebec and access to the Monster VIP viewing area and after party; and (d) two thousand Canadian dollars in spending money ($2000.00 CAD). Exact event and travel dates to be confirmed by Sponsor. The ARV of the Grand Prize is $10,000.00 CAD.

The ARV of the Grand Prize may vary depending on the Grand Prize winner's residence, market conditions, changes in value of components (e.g., air transportation and hotel rates) and other reasons. Grand Prize winner’s guest must be over the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside by the end of the Promotion Period, September 30, 2025. Ground transportation is not included, the Grand Prize winner and guest are responsible to arrange a car rental or shuttle. Sponsor is not responsible for, and the Grand Prize winner will not receive, the difference between the actual value of the Grand Prize at the time of award and the stated ARV in these Official Rules or in any Sweepstakes-related correspondence or materials. Specific travel arrangements and all prize details not specified herein will be made and determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Travel for the Grand Prize winner and guest must originate from and end at the same airport. It is the Grand Prize winner’s and guest’s sole responsibility to comply with all travel requirements, which may include, without limitation, presenting necessary identification at the time of travel. Flight schedules are subject to change without notice. Sponsor is not liable for any missed Prize events, opportunities or expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay or ground transportation delay. The Grand Prize winner will be required to provide a credit card at time of accommodation check-in to cover incidentals. The Grand Prize winner and guest ticket holders will be required to comply with all applicable venue rules and regulations at the time of redemption. In the event of venue or event closure, cancellation, or postponement, ticket terms and conditions will govern and the Promotion Entities will have no further obligation to winner.

20.    From time to time herein, the Grand Prize may be individually referred to as “Prize”. Prize suppliers are independent parties over which Sponsor does not exercise any control. Sponsor is not responsible for the acts or omissions of these suppliers, nor does it assume responsibility for any warranty, claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays, or loss of enjoyment to the Prize winner.
21.    The Prize must be accepted as awarded, and may not be assigned, substituted, or redeemed for cash value. In case of the unavailability of a Prize, or any component of, Monster reserves the right to substitute the Prize, or component of, for one of equal or greater value. All other Prize details not specified in these Official Rules will be determined in the Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Prize Draw
22.    A random draw from all eligible entries for the Prize will be made by Administrator, GOcxm, on October 3, 2025. The draw will take place at GOcxm, 379 Adelaide Street West, 2nd floor, Toronto, Ontario M5V 1S5 at approximately 3:00 PM ET, to select the potential Prize winners.

Odds
23.    The odds of winning the Grand Prize in this Sweepstakes depends on the total number of valid entries received during the Promotion Period.

Requirements of Potential Winner
24.    To be declared a potential Prize winner, the selected entrant who is eligible for such Prize will be required to correctly answer unaided (mechanical or otherwise), a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question at a predetermined mutually convenient time. Following the draw described herein, the selected entrant will be contacted by email or by phone at the telephone number provided by the entrant. If the selected entrant cannot be reached personally without leaving a message by telephone within three (3) business days of the first phone call made and after a minimum of two (2) attempts by a Sponsor representative, and if such selected entrant fails to execute and return a declaration and release form within three (3) business days from the date of receipt thereof, or if they do not otherwise comply with these Official Rules, their entry will be forfeited and the next selected entrant drawn will be contacted on the fourth (4th) day and such process may be repeated at the discretion of the Sponsor. 
25.    As a condition of winning and accepting receipt of a Prize, the Prize winner and the Prize winner’s guest must sign a declaration and release (waiver), in the form requested by Monster, confirming compliance with the Sweepstakes Official Rules, acceptance of a Prize as awarded, and releasing Sponsor, its Affiliates, and all the Promotion Entities.

THE FOLLOWING RULES APPLY TO BOTH SECTION 1 (COLLECT AND REDEEM PROMOTION) AND SECTION 2 (SWEEPSTAKES)

Privacy
26.    Monster and its Affiliates, and the agents of each, may, from time to time, subject to the provisions of paragraphs 30-33 below, collect, use, store and disclose the personal information you provided in connection with this Promotion for the purposes of administering the Promotion and Prize fulfillment and for other purposes described in our Privacy Policy. For further information about Monster's and its Affiliates’ use of personal information, please visit Monster's website and review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use accessible at https://www.monsterenergy.com/en-ca/privacy-policy/ and https://www.monsterenergy.com/en-ca/terms-of-use/ respectively.  
27.    Winners consent to Sponsor’s use of their names, photographs, cities, voices, images and/or statements, related to their Prize for publicity purposes in any manner or media including the Internet, at any time, without compensation or notice. The opportunity to receive other communications about the Sponsor’s or its Affiliates products, promotions and other promotional offers may be provided by Sponsor, with your consent.
28.    Monster will treat all personal information in accordance with relevant privacy laws. It is the intention of Monster that all personal information provided in connection with the Promotion be kept confidential and used, stored, and disclosed only for the purposes outlined herein or as permitted in Monster's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
29.    By entering this Promotion and providing their consent, Promotion entrants agree to the use of their personal information for the purposes described herein and for the purposes described in Monster's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Promotion entrants may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing privacy@monsterenergy.com. Monster reserves the right to maintain certain personal information in specific circumstances and consistent with applicable law, such as to comply with its legal obligations.

Collection and Use of Personal Information
30.    By entering into and participating in this Promotion, each entrant expressly consents to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information by the Promotion Entities or their agents and representatives. The Promotion Entities may collect and receive the following types of personal information: (i) personal information you provide directly when entering into or participating in this Promotion, (ii) automatically collected information, including but not limited to log and analytics information, device information or location information, (iii) personal information from third-party sources such as when you interact with the Promotion Entities through social media services, and (iv) personal information collected or received to protect you, the Promotion Entities and others against fraud or other illegal activities.
31.    The Promotion Entities use the information collected and received to administer the Promotion, to improve future promotional activities, and to provide effective advertising and marketing (including but not limited to sending promotional communications for third-party services, operational partners, business partners, etc.). From time to time, the Promotion Entities may share information that they collect or receive with third parties such as their affiliates, service providers, operational partners, business partners, or other fraud/security/technical protection partners.
32.    You have a number of choices about how the Promotion Entities handle information that is collected or received from you. You may opt out of receiving future promotional email, SMS, or MMS messages from any or all of the Promotion Entities, or withdraw your consent to the use and collection of your personal information by any or all of the Promotion Entities, by following the applicable instructions under their respective privacy policies. Please note that opting out from promotional communications or withdrawing your consent to the use and collection of your personal information may affect your eligibility to participate in the Promotion.
33.    The terms and conditions of the Official Rules do not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide any of the Promotion Entities or others in relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal information. If you are selected as a winner, your information may also be included in a publicly available winner’s list.

General Rules
34.    By participating and/or entering this Promotion and Sweepstakes, entrants agree to comply with these Official Rules and with the decisions of Sponsor and the Administrator as they relate thereto.
35.    By entering the Sweepstakes, each Prize winner and Prize winner’s guest agrees to sign a waiver, as described above. In addition, each Prize winner agrees to the use of their name, place of residence and image in any publicity carried out by Sponsor without compensation. 
36.    By accepting the prize in connection with this Promotion and/or Sweepstakes, the winner agrees to release, remise and forever discharge Sponsor, its Affiliates, the Promotion Entities, Prize suppliers, promotional agencies, franchisees, retailers, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, webmasters and any company involved in the creation, design, execution, production, or fulfillment of this Promotion and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, assigns, agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees (collectively, “Released Parties”), from and against any and all liability claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind incurred in connection with the delivery, installation, use and consumption of any Prize, or any component thereof.
37.    Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, late, misdirected or incomplete entries, CODES and release documents or for any problems or failures. Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or by any technical or human error, which may occur in the processing of entries in the Sweepstakes, or in claiming of Collect and Redeem items. If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, other epidemics or medical emergencies, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion or cause it to not comply with any applicable law having jurisdiction over Sponsor, then, subject to regulatory approval when required, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Promotion without notice.
38.    Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who it finds to be in violation of these Official Rules or tampering with the Promotion process. Sponsor reserves the right to refuse an entry from a person whose eligibility is in question or who has been disqualified or is otherwise ineligible to participate. Any attempt by anyone to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion is in violation of criminal and civil laws and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages or other legal remedy to the fullest extent permitted by law.
39.    All decisions of Sponsor in connection with this Promotion are final and binding in all respects. The Prize must be accepted as awarded. The Prize is non-transferable.
40.    All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
41.    This Promotion and the terms and conditions contained in these Official Rules, shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
42.    This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and is void where prohibited.
43.    These Official Rules are available at www.monsterenergyrules.com/music.
44.    All disputes, disagreements, controversies, questions or claims arising out of or relating to this Promotion, including, without limitation, with respect to its execution, validity, application, interpretation, performance, breach, termination or enforcement (“Disputes”), except where prohibited by law, shall be (a) resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and (b) shall be determined by a sole Arbitrator (the “Arbitrator”) under the Arbitration Act, 1991 (Ontario) (the “Act”). The resolution of Disputes pursuant to this section shall be final and binding upon the parties, and there shall be no appeal therefrom, including, without limitation, any appeal to a court on a question of law, a question of fact or a question of mixed fact and law. In addition: (a) section 7(2) of the Act will not apply to the arbitration; (b) unless the parties otherwise agree, the Arbitrator will be appointed by a judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario on the application of any party on notice to all the other parties. No individual shall be appointed as Arbitrator unless they agree in writing to be bound by the provisions of this Article; (c) the arbitration shall take place in the City of Toronto unless otherwise agreed in writing by the parties; (d) subject to the Act, the Arbitrator may conduct the arbitration in the manner the Arbitrator considers appropriate; (e) the language to be used in the arbitration shall be English; (f) within seven (7) calendar days after appointment the arbitrator shall set the hearing date, which shall be within ninety (90) calendar days after the filing date of the demand for arbitration unless a later date is required for a good cause shown. The parties agree to a mutual exchange of relevant documents and the taking of up to a maximum of five (5) depositions by each party to last no more than two (2) calendar days in aggregate for each party; (g) the parties desire that any Dispute should be conducted in strict confidence and that there shall be no disclosure to any person of the existence of the Dispute or any aspect of the Dispute except as is necessary for the resolution of the Dispute; and (h) the Arbitrator shall have the right to determine all questions of law and jurisdiction, including questions as to whether a claim is arbitral, and shall have the right to grant legal and equitable relief including injunctive relief and the right to grant permanent and interim injunctive relief, and final and interim damages awards. The Arbitrator shall also have the discretion to award costs, including reasonable legal fees and expenses, reasonable expert's fees and expenses, reasonable witnesses' fees and expenses pre-award and post-award interest and costs of the arbitration.
