The Backyard Battle series presented by Monster Energy is back for the third year running and it’s coming in hot.
Kicking off in June and rolling right through August until the wheels fall off. Five spots across UK and Europe will host some of the world’s most progressive freeriders and slopestyle warriors, with unreal course builds, and adding some epic public bike park sessionsin a format that bringscore freeride energy straight to a backyard near you.
2025 BACKYARD BATTLE STOPS & DATES:
Wales, UK – “Gnomes Edition” - June 10-15: Hosted by Vero Sandler & Sam Hodgson. The gnomes have been cooking, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the second edition of their event. This year also hosting a public session at Revolution Bikepark on June 14th to ride with the BYB crew.
Unterstinkenbrunn & Innsbruck, Austria - “Ruso Bros & C-Dog Edition” - June 23-29: Hosted by the Ruso Bros & Clemens Kaudela. BYB hits the road for the first time ever, with a bus tour heading from Unterstinkenbrunn to Bikepark Innsbruck to complete the festivities in Mutters for a public event on June 27-28, featuring a Best Trick, Whip Off, gnarly Ring of Fire session and afterparty.
Bannes, France - “Couderc Edition” - July 15-19: Hosted by Paul Couderc. Freeride meets slopestyle bangers at Paul’s XXL backyard playground. Expect big moves & big vibes for this BYB countryside lock in.
Boppard, Germany - “Black Mass Edition” - July 29-August 3: Hosted by Lukas Schäfer. Flow and sends intersect on Lukas’s home turf with a custom-built line that pushes boundaries on how much fun you can have on a bike. With a public day jam on August 2nd at Bikepark Boppard.
Barcelona, Spain - “Loco Camp Edition” - August 26-30: Hosted by Adolf Silva. Concluding the 2025 BYB season in Ride Loco style. Adolf and his build crew are hard at work building some new lines and features, set for a heavy closer in biking paradise.
Each edition of the BYB series brings its own unique flavour while staying true to the grassroots spirit of freeride. With custom course builds, invite-only rider crews, and open bike park days, the Backyard Battle series continues to blur the line between jam session and progression session.
